The new service required moving the primary site to Smartetailing, using their proprietary Content Management System, and customizing one of the six templates available to STBG.

To ensure the site continued to support the Shop’s branding and unique story we relied heavily on the established Brand Guidelines, as well as the library of photos and content created over the years.

Because the new CMS does not include blogging capabilities, we decided to convert the old site into a blog/newsroom to continue hosting all of the content created for STBG in the past. Pages on the new site reference related content, as in this example, with the new Mountain Bike page linking to a customer profile (now branded “STBG stories”).

The new blog was revamped to match, as closely as possible, the look and feel of the main site.

A widget on the home page pulls in the RSS feed from the blog.

A new page highlights all of the ways to shop, including the new online store.

STBG’s Appointment Request Form, which was introduced during the summer as a way to streamline customer communications and appointments, is driven by HubSpot’s Marketing Forms and was easily embedded into the new CMS ensuring no disruption in service.
